The Blex is an innovative design tool for secondary schools wanting to improve their school grounds. Large scale foam blocks, parasols, outdoor carpet and moveable hedges give schools the opportunity to experiment with the use and layout of their outdoor spaces before making decisions about permanent change.

A BLeX resource Pack and DVD along with a case study of how Quilley School of Engineering used the BLeX to explore new ideas for improving their school grounds is available from the Hampshire School Landscape Programme.
